Skytango has been successful in accessing New Frontiers and NDRC CSF funding. Steve will share his experience of applying for funding and his experience of being offered and (turning down1) VC funding.
Jannetje van Leeuwen
Co-Creator of NOSO Journal for Teens
Jannetje and her sister Marie-Anne a spent 2017 working on a big passion project - creating a journal just for teens: NOSO Journal.
They managed to fund the project through Kickstarter
Jannetje will share her story of how they got 159 backers to pledge €16,025 to help bring this project to life.

Popdeem (established in 2012) is a social rewards platform that allows brands to reward their customers for connecting and interacting with them on social media. By rewarding customers for sharing these experiences online, brands can turn their most loyal customers into brand advocates.
Popdeem's client list includes restaurant chains from around the world including Kung Fu Tea, Ribs and Burgers and Heine Brothers Coffee. Popdeem has raised over €1 million to date from investors including Delta VC, Enterprise Ireland and Wayra.

David McDonnell of New Frontiers Entrepreneur Development Programme
David runs the New Frontiers Programme at the Synergy Centre in IT Tallaght and he will speak about the New Frontiers Programme. The New Frontiers Phase 2 programme offers €15,000 of equity- free funding for 6 months from Enterprise Ireland for successful applicants.
