This Last Tuesday Sarah Martin from MamaBud will talk about market diversification and lean market entry mechanisms for China and other markets and how Mamabud help companies sell to China quickly and cost effectively, using lean methodology for market entry AKA Lean Market Entry. Normally it costs a minimum of €500k and 2 years for a company to enter China before they sell a unit. Mamabud gets them trading online in just 2 months and test all aspects of their proposition in market.
How? They develop their digital assets (MVP) drive traffic to the store (with social media influencers), gather data, watch behaviour, take consumer feedback. Then they adjust messaging/pricing etc and repeat. The ambition is to refine the proposition for the market for a sustainable growth strategy for this super complex market.
Sarah's best advice anyone thinking of getting started can get is to prove the problem exists, understand who the problem affects and ensure that it is annoying enough to motivate action.
Sarah will talk about her journey into entrepreneurship, and give tips on ways to work with the Chinese market.
