Python is a general-purpose programming language that is becoming more and more popular for doing data science. Companies worldwide are using Python to harvest insights from their data and get a competitive edge. Over the years, with strong community support, this language got dedicated libraries for data analysis and predictive modelling. This workshop explores, how Python can serve as a powerful tool for data science using its several readily-available open-source libraries. Puneet will be using pandas to perform data analysis and sci-kit learn to generate statistical model of the data. Further, the workshop will also include a small overview of how python can be used in a big data environment.
